The Nocturnals are a twenty something, three piece alternative rock band from South London. They formed in April 2008 after discovering they had a love of similar music, think Snow Patrol, Guns n Roses and Radiohead. They also enjoy long country walks and Jagerbombs!
All three members have cut their teeth in previous bands before, with such excellent past names like Atomic Hedgehogs, and Stinkin’ Weasel.
The Nocturnals released “The Blue Moon Demo” in December 2009. It was recorded and produced by the band in their own studio, The Blue Moon. This demo is a preview of their forthcoming debut album due for release in summer 2010.
The band have played a string of shows at various venues, such as The Purple Turtle, The Enterprise, The Blag Club and The Secret Garden Party. Expect more in 2010 to promote the Blue Moon Demo and then a mini UK tour after the release of their debut album.
