Here is my “bio”, I guess… (lol) I think it’s more of a short book about me. My full name is John Justin McCall. I thank you for taking the time to read a little about who I really am, where I came from, and what I would LOVE to do for Jesus.

Let me first thank a few very important people in my life. I owe all the Glory to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!!! Without Him, none of us would be who we are today and without Jesus, you and I would have never met... good or bad, Jesus gave us all a choice and only His Love can set us free! My mother, Marilyn M. McCall, for most of my musical talent, thanks ma. She is a wonderful pianist and always had great harmonies but would not teach me piano, “because you can’t teach your own kids”, she always said. I excelled vocally because of this and taught myself to sing without a lesson one. God had my voice planned out long before I did and my grandmother, who had full blown Parkinson disease, always pointed up and said “one day…you will sing for Jesus”. She was a very devoted Christian in spite of all her aliments; she was very close with God and had the gift of vision. She has since gone to be with our Lord Jesus and walking, talking and singing with Him now. Last, but not least, Michael English, for just being you and always having an open ear and an awesome testimony...Welcome Back Home Brother and congrats on your fall tour with Avalon!!!

As for me...I am just a sinner, saved by the grace of God, and I am a Christian Father of 4 wonderful children who "rock my world", and I just found out I have one more on the way! My soul mate and partner for life, Kimmi, says she has 5 children. (lol) I guess I have to agree with her sometimes since I am a kid at heart and love to do many activities like camping, fishing, singing, golfing, Nitro RC Cars, etc... I am so thankful for my family because they mean the world to me and have always been very supportive of wanting me to minister to as many as I could through song. I wouldn’t trade them for the world...they are all too Kool!

I was raised in The Assembly of God Church, in Lombard, IL. That is where I started to sing at the age of four. My love for music is in the one who gave me the talent in the first place, God. My family now attends the First Baptist Church (Independent Baptist) of Wayne, Nebraska since moving to Wakefield, NE. in November of 2004 from Las Vegas, where we lived for 7 years. If you have children, don't ever move there. Not a great place to raise a family! I was born on January 24th, 1972 in Columbus, Ohio where I lived until I was just 4 years old. My father moved us to Glen Ellyn, IL, a very nice suburb of Chicago. We started to attend the Lombard Assembly of God and that is where I was raised.

Just to give you a little background on the faith I was raised in most of my life, The Assemblies of God ministries have focused on evangelism and missions and have resulted in a continuing growth at home and abroad. Their constituency has climbed from the founding convention attendance of 300 to more than 2.6 million in the United States and over 48 million overseas. The Assemblies of God is a Protestant fellowship and believe each person may commune directly with God based on Jesus' death on the cross. This provides a personal and meaningful relationship with Him. While they are less formal in our worship to God than many protestant denominations, the Assemblies of God is very similar in faith, with the exception of its Pentecostal doctrine (Hebrews 4:14-16; 6:20; Ephesians 2:18).

Like most Christian groups the Assemblies of God believes God exists in three persons -- the Father, Son (Jesus), and Holy Spirit. I believe all three are alive and at work today. I also believe this God of three persons is the one and only true God (Matthew 28:9; Luke 3:22; 2 Corinthians 13:14). The Assemblies of God is notably classified as Evangelical. The church is distinguished as such because it places high priority on the inspiration of Scripture and its mission to bring the lost to a saving knowledge and relationship with Jesus Christ.

The most definitive identification of the Assemblies of God is Pentecostal. Just as it was founded in 1914, the Fellowship remains a full gospel church—one where the fullness of the Holy Spirit is welcomed, nurtured, and taught. This includes speaking in tongues as the initial evidence of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. Other manifestations of the Holy Spirit embraced by the church include: messages in tongues with interpretations, prophecies, word of knowledge, and the complete offering of the gifts and fruit of the Holy Spirit as indicated in the Bible. Among Pentecostal churches—the Assemblies of God is largest worldwide with over 52 million constituents.

Believe me, the above statement does not make The Assemblies of God any better than any other denomination. We are all sinners that have fallen short of the Glory of God. I don’t know about you, but I’m just a sinner, saved by the Grace and the Blood of Jesus…AMEN! I just like to look at all Churches as having a “big sign” on the front door that says…”All Sinners Accepted Here”. (lol) How true that is and when you read my little story below you’ll see just how God can take the hardest of hearts and make them new again regardless of religion, sex, faith, color or power…LOOK OUT!!! When God wants you, move over Uncle Sam and watch out Satan… There ain’t no way to stop Him. Why? Because Jesus died and shed His blood for you and me 2007 years ago…to this day all you have to do is ask!!! Ask Him into your heart and forgive you for all of your sin…all of it! I don’t care how bad it is or how bad you think it is…”just do it”. Nike had a great slogan…”Just Do It”. They made a fortune off of it right? Well, my fortune is eternal life because I Did It…Will you? God is not intangible…look around! If you think an explosion caused the trees, the birds and the bees, and all the beauty your eyes can see, think again. The last time I saw a firecracker go off was when a friend of mine had one in his hand. Let me tell you…he does not pose a solar system in his palm of his hand now, nor does he have any beauty about it… He has just a sad reminder of how “fragile” we truly are, and how nothing compares to our Creator. The same Yesterday, Today, and Forever…Jesus the one and only True Christ and Creator!

Hard headed for Christ, you might say...but wait, that's not all! (lol) Find out why I think the way I do today...Keep reading, It only gets better!

_____________________~ My Little Story ~______________________

When I was 17 years old and going on the end of my rebellious years, I told my mother {QUOTE} "I didn't want to have anything to do with her, the church, or God anymore"{END QUOTE} for various, but dumb reasons… now that I look back on it. What was I thinking! Most of this was caused because of my lack of better judgment, as a teen, and not looking for help within the church and my real friends. I think they came up with the term “young, dumb and stupid” because of my behavior back then. (lol) It was no laughing matter then, I’m just glad the following events took place and open my eyes to the “Big Picture”… I was living a life without Jesus.

Well, after telling my Mom off and never wanting to speak to her again, I had a very hard Lesson learned...Three days later I was pronounced DOA, at just the age of 17, from a motorcycle accident after being hit by a drunken driver. I had severed the bones and Tendons in my right wrist and dislocated my left hip, in a coma for 2 weeks, on a breathing machine, and the doctors even "called me".

The drunken 16 yr. old girl had pulled out right in front of me... Ouch! It was not a great time, let me tell you! It’s Ironic that happened because eventually the same girl, who hit me, ended up at our Church about 2 years later and accepted Jesus as her personal Savior… Very Cool! Well, to make a long story short, God proved the doctors wrong! I can walk again, I can talk again, and I can write again. Thank You Jesus and thank you mom and dad for never giving up on me, even when I was not the greatest individual…I Love you!!! :)

Nine months later, my Mother took me to a Gaither Vocal Band concert and I think it was Bill Gaither's 100th birthday that night...or was it his 110th, any way’s, (just kidding Bill...LOL) I still had a tuff time walking and had a half cast on my right wrist still. Now remember, the doctors had told my mom and dad that I would never walk, talk, use my wrist and would have a limp the rest of my life. Thank God I had a helmet on... hint, hint for all you bikers, and thank God my mother never gave up on me!

I was at a very low point in my life and was looking for an answer as to why God spared my life in the first place. At the time I was living for all the wrong reasons. I hated my life, in trouble with the law, drugs, drinking, and putting on the "Christian Face" for my parent’s sake every Sunday. I guess you could have called me a modern day rebel without a cause. At 17 years old, the worst part was that I knew better, but I had been given a choice...a choice that almost cost me my life forever, and without Jesus!

There was a very awesome talent there that night who you may have heard of...Michael English? His God given talent, that night and to this day, touched my heart. God put Michael English, and his music, in front of me that night for a reason...That reason was clear! I needed to ask Jesus into my life once and for all. Not just say "Oh yes, I'm a Christian" like so many of us do or have done in the past and then just pretend. The only person we hurt by doing that is Jesus, so why fake it, right?

The following Sunday, I finally gave in! I have always got a message through music, but the way Michael sang that night just hit me like a ton of elephants falling from the sky...Look out!!! (LOL) Since then, I have realized that Life is too short to mess with our Maker, no matter how good or bad that situation is... big or small, Jesus will always see it through.

“Mike English... God bless you brother and thank you for being there that night. You will always have a special place in my heart! God put you there for a reason and you opened my padlocked heart from hardening anymore than it already was. God allowed me to reach out to His Heart and truly feel my emptiness, through your music...Thank You and Thank God for your talent”!

My lesson to anyone reading this: Be careful of what you say and do! By all means, I'm still far from perfect…none of us are, but you..., you might not have a second chance to take back the things you do or have done, like God allowed me to do. Whatever it may be, make you situation(s) right! You see, God allowed things to happen for reasons and what I learned, from my almost very tragic event, is that you just have to take each life experience and use it for the good of life...not for your own personal gain or self pity. I was headed for a road of self destruction, with no return... I had a band called "SlyFoXX", and at that time, we were going to be the next "Big Group" of the late 80's and early 90's. We were supposed to sign papers with Atlantic Records, in New York, the week I got hit. Thank God we never signed and Thank you God, for bringing me closer to you!!!

Life is to short "To Box with God" and you'll never win without Him. He is the one in control of everything and without God, who is in control? Think about that for a while, but keep reading it gets better... When I sing now, it's all for Jesus, and my Testimony...for you, my friends, and for the World to hear! *I have always found it easier to listen to a sinner, saved by the grace of God and how they were in their past… a drug user, an alcoholic, a liar, a cheater, a thief, an abuser, etc...whatever it might be, and how they found Jesus! It's great to hear how they have changed their life, and through Him have been set free by the grace of our Almighty God... to be set free of their sins, in the Name and The Blood of Jesus and start truely living for Him. To me, that is powerful and a real sign that Jesus is alive and real today, and that He loves us unconditionally!!!

Just last year, I had the opportunity with a Quartet that I sang Tenor with, called "For The Master", on August 20th, 2006, to sing with Michael English at a concert in Norfolk, NE...All I can say is WOW!!! What a Testimony Michael has now, and what a great man of God he has become! Not only did he sound better than ever, but Michael has a testimony that you just have to hear. Find out when he will be in your area or book him yourself and just go. You will be blessed, I promise! I have always stood behind everything Michael has done...just because I knew what he was going through. At the time I had seen Michael the first time, he was and still is someone to whom I look up to as a person and vocally as well. He has been called and considered, at one time, the "Prodigal Son" of gospel music... 13 Grammys and Voted Best Male Vocalist of the year 3 years in a row. What more could you ask for as an artist, right??? But at the time I had seen him first, Michael was singing for the wrong reasons. Almost like a bad popularity contest, his life would change and head for a road of self destruction. All of this happened, shortly after God used him to help break me down!

Let me tell you that man has a mission now... To tell the World what happened and why he did what he did. Let me tell you, he has come HOME and let me tell you...Michael is a new man! You can see it in his eyes! You see, no man will ever be perfect but God and God alone. Now a day, it is so easy for man to point the finger and to put blame on everyone but him/her self...Why? Because Satin loves to ruin good people like you and I, and Satan loves to destroy, like a thief in the night...that's why!

I will say it here and I will say this forever for all to hear...say it with me if you want... Satan, I rebuke you in the Name and the Blood of Jesus Christ who died on the cross for my sins so that I might have eternal life...BE GONE...and BE CAST to the deepest waters of the ocean and come here no more in the Name and the Blood of my Lord and Savior...Jesus Christ, AMEN!

Guess what??? In the end, through all your pain, all your sorrow, all your love that you thought was gone...GOD wins! If you don't believe me, just read your bible...It’s all there. Just "Git R Done"! It all starts with a little faith and a lot fun once you decide to change your ways. You will lose a lot of people you thought were friends, but you will gain so many more, as I have a network of friends now that I consider my true brothers and sisters in Christ! You’ll gain people that actually care, not the type who just pretend. It's not easy, and in today's World, we always look for the easy way out. I don't know about you, but this World is not my home...I'm just passing through and it's my job to tell the World and you, that Jesus Christ is The King of Kings! Just give it all to Him and you too can have everlasting life in Heaven. Just stay focused as hard as it might be here on's all just a test of our faith and our will, to do His work. That includes you...not just a minister, a preacher, a musician, etc... We are all fishers of man! (Matthew 4:19)

Since my worldly father went home 5 years ago...I look at death as an honor, not at first, believe me, I was very crushed...but yes, an honor! So many of us fear death, but why? As long as you strive to live like a *King you'll have nothing to fear. If I stumble on something, it will be because God allowed it to happen, not because I wanted it to happen. I have to do it for God and if I die trying and I can save a few souls along the way, then it is all worth it to me! To me, it’s not about fame or the fortune that can be made with the right marketing, promotions and crowds, etc...It’s about living the life of a King...Let me explain being a "King" the best I can...

The word “King”: It contrasts the kind of King that Jesus really was with what everyone around Jesus, when He came to earth was expecting, and what most of us think of when we say the word King: riches, power, a palace, etc... right? He is the King of Kings, but He came to earth poor and as a servant to others, and told us that His life should be the example we follow, right? So, why do we desire more money than we need and people to "do" for us? The world we live in today teaches us that money and and fame is the way to happiness. That is so far from the truth, believe me! So, if all that ever happens and I am just a "King", so be it, then my riches will be awaiting me when I go HOME, and when death comes to knock on my door, I know now where I am going! That is why I don't fear death and why I can look death in the face and smile. The only thing I can do is pray for my family and my friends that they too will one day understand completely, the true Love of Jesus.

You see, if all I was able to do is just “get by” and be able to pay my bills, while being a "Fisher of Man" and singing for Jesus, travel the world, have my family with me and get my kids out of the public school system, just to have my wife, Kimmi, and I home school them, in the Name of Jesus...He will provide! Then we have won, but only because of Jesus! I pray and have faith, that one day Jesus will let me do all of this and let me share my Voice that He gave me and my testimony with you... in His time and His Name. It is all just a test of faith and a lot of praying right now, so please keep my family in your prayers and the music I sing for Jesus, in your heart... I thank you, and I thank God for your understanding hearts and your unconditional support!

I believe that if you and I continue to have The Attitude... or FAITH that “God will provide” when we do His will, because he always does in one way or another, we will always be blessed. God has always blessed my family more than we could ever want! For that, I'm more than grateful and if you can just remember that God is on our side and that everything is in His timing, NOT ours... You Will Win and when it's "our time", we will go to the place we should all think about, Heaven. There is a song called “No More Nights” by David Phelps, which speaks about such a thing… A Place with no more nights and no more pain! A Place with no more tears! A Place where none of our loved ones have to suffer, or will ever die again! We WILL live in the light... of The Risen Lamb, JESUS CHRIST. I don't know about you, but I'm all over that... as fast as I can blink my eyes and it gives me chills just thinking about it!

My goal now, however, is obvious! I have a calling to sing my song and heart out to the world and to serve Jesus in that manner... until I "go Home"! Jesus will find someone willing to help and get me "on tour” soon, it is just in The Lords timing...not mine. (lol) Funny how that's always is the case, but Jesus does work things out for the good eventually, if you just let Him. I have a few options that I am considering right now, but I have given them to God and He will work them out for me...He is an Awesome God...AMEN!

Just remember one thing, children of God...when times get tuff, give it ALL to Jesus and let Him work it out. Use the "stuff" you go through to help someone else out, by learn from your mistakes. It's not the end of the World, but the start of a new chapter in your life. Just give it all away, everything, and to Him. Have true Faith, trusting in Jesus that He will take care of whatever it is that is a burden on your heart.

I hope you Love the Music that I sing for our Jesus, and the message behind each one of the songs... One of them is for you! Just listen to the message, behind each one, and let Jesus work in your heart. Let Jesus fix and heal your heart and save your soul for Good and stay focused on Him...always!

Like I said, this was and is more of a book than a bio. (lol) But it’s me! I can’t wait to see you all one day and if not, well I'll see you at "The House"!

God Bless you all, In His Love, always and forever.
